Under the Trees

“It’s warm out today.”

“It feels nice, doesn’t it?”

“The weather is perfect for flying. Thank you for coming with me.”

“I wouldn’t have missed it, Harry. I’ll cherish the memory of the gobsmacked look on Weasley’s face for as long as I live.”

“You are so bad, Draco.”

“Even you have to admit, that was funny. He looked like a goggle-eyed fish.”

“I thought he was going to have a heart attack. I haven’t seen anyone turn that shade of magenta since my Uncle Vernon.”

“He eventually came around.”

“I wonder what Bill said to him?”

“Probably that he was being an idiot and to trust you to choose your own partner. Bill knows we love each other.”

“I always liked Bill. I thought his earring with the dragon fang was the coolest thing I’d ever seen.”

“You had a thing for dragons even then, didn’t you?”

“Maybe. I’m getting hot. Let’s go home.”

“I thought you wanted to enjoy the nice weather.”

“I’d much rather enjoy you.”

“There’s no reason we couldn’t do both. I’ve always wanted to make love to you under a tree.”

“I thought you’d hate that idea. There are bugs on the ground.”

“Honestly, Potter. That’s why there are Bug-Repellant Charms.”

“I walked right into that, didn’t I?”

“You did. But, I love you in spite of your occasional thoughtlessness.”

“Thank Merlin for that!”

“I can’t wait to have my mouth all over you, Harry.”

“Enough talking. Let’s go make the most of this warm day,”
