Any wrongdoing is totally on his own head, and you had every right to let the original vidder know that something of his had been re-uploaded without permission.

The other jackass is showing classic symptoms of blaming the "witness" for the fact that he was convicted of a crime. It's not YOUR fault; it's HIS...for committing the "crime" in the first place.
