Advice
“Luna! How nice to see you. This is a pleasant surprise! I thought you and that husband of yours were off seeking some more of your elusive creatures.”
“We were, but my intuition told me we ought to head home.”
“You always did have an uncanny sense of timing.”
“It’s just a natural gift, I suppose. Now, what’s on your mind, Draco?”
“On my mind? What makes you think something’s on my mind? Nothing is on my mind.”
Luna remained quiet, continuing to regard the blonde with calm serenity, a slight knowing smile on her face.
Draco took a deep breath, exhaling slowly and seeming to choose his words very carefully. “I’m not sure what happened, to be honest. One minute Harry and I were talking about wedding plans, and the next, we were rowing.”
“The two of you need to learn to speak a language other than combat. Just because you have stolen someone’s heart, luckily owned and occupied as a home, doesn’t give you the audacity to enforce hurtful policies. No one has the right to deliberately hurt the one they love.”
“I know that, Luna. We would never deliberately hurt each other, but sometimes the ghosts of Potter and Malfoy come out of our pasts to toy with us.”
“Draco, if you can be friends with me after everything that happened in your manor, then I know you can lay the past to rest between you and Harry. You two love each other too much to let a row come between you, even if it was over your father.”
“How did you know our row had anything to do with my father?”
“I told you, it’s a natural gift. Harry always hated Lucius nearly as much as he hated Voldemort. I was in Ravenclaw, you realise.”
“Luna, you are certainly one of a kind. I glad you came home.”
“So am I. Now go do the right thing and make up with that fiancée of yours.”
“I’m going. You’re sure he won’t hex me?”
“He won’t hex you, but he’s tied to the bed. He wants you to free him.”
“Luna? Remind me never to look you in the eye again.”
