“Step away from Harry, you manky ferret! He doesn’t want your filthy hands on him!”
‘Harry, are you going to let Weasley sit there and insult me? We both know you quite like having my hands on you, after all.”
“Draco, please! Could you save the suggestive commentary until we’re somewhere more private? I really don’t think Hermione would thank us for making her boyfriend’s head explode.”
“Are you quite certain you aren’t the one on the verge of explosion, love? You look quite flushed.”
“Draco!”
“I’ll behave, Harry. Honestly, I thought Gryffindors were supposed to be fearless.”
“Fearless, yes. Immune to embarrassment, no. If we move quickly, we may be able to escape before Ron can get his jaw off the carpet.”
“Are you ashamed of me, Harry?”
“Not in the slightest, Draco.”
“Draco. Draco! Since when in the hell is he Draco to you?!”
“Weasley, do calm down, please. Your face is turning a rather interesting shade of aubergine. As amusing as I would undoubtedly find this in other circumstances, you are upsetting Harry. I won’t stand for that.”
“Fuck off, arsehole. You don’t care about Harry. You’re just with him to clear your family’s miserable reputation.”
“You go too far, Ron. Draco loves me, and I love him.”
“Why did you never tell me? I’m supposed to be your best mate, right?”
“You are, Ron.”
“If I were, you wouldn’t be seeing him. A conflict of interests, that’s what this is. You’re a Gryffindor to the core. It’s not right to date a Slytherin.”
“No, Ron. What’s not right is judging people based on house traits. Slytherins are not all evil, you know.”
“How can you say that, mate?”
“I was nearly a Slytherin myself, Ron. I only went to Gryffindor because I begged the hat not to place me in Slytherin.”
“Pity you can’t make these revelations every day, Harry. Ronald’s gobsmacked gaping fish impression is rather hilarious.”
“Shut it, you. Play nice, yeah?”
“Only for you, lover.”
“Enough of that kind of talk. You’ll put me off my food, and dinner’s in fifteen minutes.”
“You should really compare notes with Goyle, Weasley. He said the exact same thing.”
Ron made a face like he’d swallowed stinksap.
“I have something in common with Goyle? Kill me now.”
