I totally hear you. For me, the hardest part of mothering is that everybody always wants something from me, to no end. I honestly don't get 5 minutes with my thoughts, it's always "Mommy!!! He (insert the criminal act of the other child)... Mommy!!! Can I have..." I mean, yesterday I was cleaning my windows cause the kids are at my sister's for 2 days and I've got 40 large windows to clean, including running up a ladder all day - and I was less mentally exhausted than I was when I home with kids all day, doing next to nothing. I think I'd totally suck as a teacher, I admire you to take up the home-schooling for your nephew! Go spoil yourself or something, hot chocolate, good reading and lots of sleep. :) Do you have a spa near-by? Maybe you could treat yourself to that once! :) And let's not forget free hugs - I've got piles of those, they serve very well as a cushion! :)
