Breaking news in RL

The hospice people have said that my dad is deteriorating faster than expected. They aren't thinking he's going to live much longer. There is nothing else the hospital  or hospice can do except keep him comfortable right now.  I'm feeling sad, numb and shocked. I'm not sure what else to say, so I'll sign off now.
