Oct. 14th, 2012 08:39 pmSo, yesterday, I went food shopping. I usually go every month and a half to two months or so.
Today, my grandmother told me that one of my neighbors may be dying. He's been sick since before my father passed on, so it's not too much of a surprise. It is upsetting, though. My neighbors have always treated me like I was one of their own grandchildren. I've known them my whole life, so it's a bit like losing a family member. He was there for me when my own father died with hugs and cheesecake and kind words of comfort. I'm grateful that I had an opportunity to be that close to my neighbors.
I'm sitting here, trying not to think and feeling thankful for YouTube and music.
My father keeps crossing my mind.
Oh, and one of my bffs has a birthday today.
My cousin's 28th was yesterday.
I'm still fighting for any little piece of independence I can get. I am not giving up.
