Notes: Here is the next installment of what seems to be becoming yet another Ron/Draco series of mine. We just got our electricity back last night, and here I am writing it because I love this fandom and this community. I hope readers enjoy this one. Follows St. Mungo's At Last
Summary: Hermione spills a secret.
“Tell me what, Granger?” Draco demanded.
“He never told you why we broke up, did he?”
“Hermione, please don’t do this!” Ron begged, expression pleading.
“Now I really have to know, Weasley. Anything that makes you lower yourself like that has to be embarrassing.”
“Did he tell you that I caught him wanking?” Hermione asked.
“That’s what men do, Granger. It hardly warrants the end of a relationship.”
“He wasn’t wanking over me, you idiot. It was your name he was screaming while he was playing with that toy.”
For the first time in his life Draco Malfoy had no words to say, choosing not to utter the inane something that wanted to emerge from his mouth.
“Hermione, why did you do that?”
“Because you never would have, Ronald.”
“I wasn’t planning to tell him I had the best orgasm of my life wanking to thoughts of him. But I did ask him to go to dinner with me. Like a gentleman. I thought you respected me enough not to tell my private business, but I can see I was wrong.”
“Healer Granger, you’re needed on the Spell Damage ward. A miscast Tarantellegra is wreaking havoc on a poor fellow’s feet. I’ll see to Mr. Weasley here.”
Looking humiliated, Hermione fled without looking back.
“Well, I know the very essence of romance is uncertainty, but I’d say any chance of one between you and Granger is officially dead, yes?” Draco asked, breaking the uncomfortable silence that had fallen.
“I’d say so. I suppose you think I’m an idiot, yeah?”
“Weasley, I have always thought you were an idiot , and I always will think you’re an idiot. I also think the notion that you’ve had an explosive orgasm while thinking of me is one of the hottest things I’ve ever heard; as soon as you’re healed , I want to take you to dinner and then ravish you.”
“Not to intrude on a private conversation, gents, but I am still here.”
“Why did I let you take me here? Why!?” Ron wailed.
“I haven’t taken you anywhere yet, but I will.”
“Well, I suppose I’d best get on with my job then,” the Healer deadpanned.

And I hope Ron's wounded ego can be somewhat soothed by excellent food, followed by a night of proper debauchery that make his uhm, not-so-private-anymore fantasies come true, LOL! IT WAS A WRONG STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, HERMIONE! :)
