dove_drabbles- What’s in your potion?; JMDC 164-something unexpected
Summary: Severus gives Harry an incentive to take his cold medicine.
“What’s in your potion?”
“I put some cocoa in it. I think medicinal potions ought to taste nicer so people would be more likely to take them.”
“Cocoa? Really? That’s unexpected. Wouldn’t it interfere with the medical properties, though?”
“I don’t think it will. Would you care to test it for me, Mr. Potter? You have a cold, and you need to take your medicine.”
“Severus, you’ve official gone soft in your old age.”
“Bite your tongue, Mr. Potter. I’ve done no such thing.”
“I’d rather you bite my tongue.”
“Take your medicine like a good boy, and that could be arranged.”
“Promise?”
