Hot or Not?
Apr. 11th, 2020 12:12 amTitle: Hot or Not?
Author:
bleedingangel84
Beta: None
Pairing: Albus Severus/Scorpius, background Harry/Draco
Rating: PG
Warnings: AU, EWE
Word Count: 365
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction created for fun and no profit has been made.
Written for:
hogwarts365 Prompt 332-Advance, Activated, Augment;
hogwarts365 Prompt 333-Backbone, Bough, Blame
Notes: Apologies for doubling up on two sets of prompts this week, but RL is still getting in the way of my fandom time. I hope readers enjoy my little offering. I usually don’t do next gen, but this was apparently lurking somewhere in my brain.
Summary: Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy disagree about what’s hot.
“Advance!”
“No, you ought to have retreated, you idiot! You’re going to die!”
“Boys! What in Merlin’s name are you doing?”
“I was just showing Scorpius my new video game, Dad. Grandpa Arthur got it for me.”
“Ah, I see. Wouldn’t you two rather go outside and augment your virtual play with some quidditch or football? Get some actual physical exercise?”
“I wanted to show Scorpius this new app I downloaded. It’s voice activated and supposedly tells you who you’re going to marry by analyzing vocal patterns.”
“You are going out at some point today, aren’t you? I’d be surprised if your backbone hasn’t left a permanent groove in the sofa by now.”
“Yes, we’re going outside. Scorpius is taking me to this new pub, The Broken Bough. He says they do an excellent roast.”
“You’re going out for dinner? I thought you were supposed to go to your mum’s.”
“She has a date with some bloke this evening. And her cooking is nowhere near as good as Grandma Molly’s.”
“Fair point. Your Grandma Molly spoiled me for anyone else’s cooking.”
“Is that part of the reason you and mum got divorced?”
“No, the blame for that is on my shoulders. I didn’t realise I was attracted to men until after you were born.”
“I would imagine kissing my father at a ministry function had something to do with that, Mister Potter?”
“Call me Harry. And yes, it did. Your father was always a thorn in my side, but I always thought he was handsome.”
“Eurgh! That’s gross!”
“Gross would be if we made out in front of the two of you.”
“Actually, that would be hot.”
“Scorpius!”
“What? You know it’s true.”
“They’re our dads!”
“Hot is hot. I stand by what I said. And your dad is hot.”
“Can we please go before you traumatise me any further?”
“I’m torn as to whether to be traumatised or flattered myself.”
“Dad! Please tell me you wouldn’t be flattered if my boyfriend hit on you.”
“What can I say? He looks like a younger version of Draco.”
“You two are hopeless. I’m hungry. Can we go now?”
“I do so love it when you blush.”
