Summary: Harry and Draco are both stubborn arses.
“Merlin, I can’t believe it’s already the middle of October! Where has the time gone?”
“I dunno where it goes, but I wish there was more of it in the mornings. It seems we’re always busy.”
“I know. That’s because we are. But you’re the one who just had to become an Auror, Potter.”
“You’re one to talk, Malfoy. We are partners.”
“Only because no one else wanted to work with me in the beginning. Weasley was just awful. He cast a charm to make me smell as if I’d been rolling in canine excrement. Every day for two weeks. I don’t know how you can stand him.”
“I did tell him off for that, and so did Hermione. “
“Granger is a fearsome witch when you’re on her bad side. I could almost feel sorry for Weasley.”
“Just don’t let him hear you say that.”
“Merlin forbid. The sky might fall in. A Malfoy feeling sorry for a Weasley just isn’t done.”
“Neither was a Potter befriending a Malfoy at one point, but we managed, didn’t we?”
“Only because we’re both stubborn arses who don’t like to follow the rules.”
“I’m rather fond of your stubborn arse, Draco.”
“I’m rather fond of yours as well, Potter. You look knackered. Can I get you another coffee?”
“Please. You owe me after last night. You kept me up with your snoring at all hours.”
“I do not snore!”
“Oh, then was that you mowing the lawn in your sleep? I really should invest in ear plugs.”
“You’re horrible. I don’t know why I even like you.”
“Other than my arse, you mean. We both know you love that.”
“Don’t get a big head, Potter. It really doesn’t suit you.”
“You know you love me.”
“You love me, too.”
“I’ll love you more if you bring me that cup of coffee.”
“I don’t know if you deserve it. Saying I snore!”
“Draco, most people snore at some point. It doesn’t make you any less a Malfoy.”
“I can’t decide if you’re trying to make me feel better or worse.”
“Whichever one gets me the coffee fastest.”
