dove_drabbles Prompt 124- Dare to love completely.
Notes: As far as I’m aware, fortune cookies are not common in the UK, but I took creative license for storytelling purposes. I think this is also, at least in part, a semi-subconscious rebuttal to religious anti-LGBT+ sentiments with which I’ve recently come in contact. I wish it were longer, but this is all I have the bandwidth for today. I hope readers enjoy.
Summary: Draco isn’t romantic, but Harry speaks his language.
“What does yours say?”
“’Dare to love completely.’ My, what a groundbreaking piece of advice.”
“Must you always resort to sarcasm, Malfoy?”
“You might say it’s my love language, Potter.”
“One might say that. One might also say that you suffer from a case of romantic constipation. Metaphorically speaking, of course.”
“If I do, what does it say about you that you’re willing to date me?”
“That I have the patience of a saint?”
“And—lucky me—a body made for sin.”
“What can I say? You bring out the devil in me.”
“And thank Merlin for that. Can we go home now?”
“I like the way you think.”
