I'm in a
Thursday morning
state of mind-

Dizzy and giddy
with exhaustion-

Laughing at
silly things-

just to-try-
and untangle-
this damn-
knot.

It coils-
and writhes
inside my stomach.
like a restless snake.

The edges blur-
I'm numb-
play it calm-
torn up-
blast off-
like a rocket-
jets hot-
a fury-

Nothing but a
blank-
stark-
canvas.

As I drift-
into a dream-
others fall into-
My worst nightmare-

Reality.
