Summary: Draco learns the positive side of being misinformed.

Misinformed

“Happiness is only real, when shared.”

“That’s a load of tripe.”

“You’re only in a foul mood because Potter hasn’t called in three weeks, Draco.”

“You’d be in a foul mood under the same circumstances, Parkinson.”

“I know it. Which is why I have more sense than to attempt a long-distance relationship.”

“I love Harry. He’s on an undercover assignment in America for six months. ”

“Have you heard from him at all, Draco?”

“No, Pansy. Granger told me he’d be out of communication for another two months, at least. I’ll just have to bear it until then.”

“Merlin help us all! Draco, you’ll be unbearable by then.”

“Why, thank you Pansy dear. I love you, too.”

“Don’t pretend as though your knickers are in a twist. You know I’m telling the truth. I do love you, darling, but you’re terrible when you’re going through withdrawal from Potter. I want to tie you to a bed and gag you, just to get some relief.”

“Should I be jealous, Parkinson?”

“Harry! What are you doing here?! You’re not supposed to be home for months. Granger said—”

“Hermione was misinformed. The assignment was for six weeks, not months.”

“Oh, thank Merlin! Draco was beginning to do my head in.”

“Sod off, you daft cow!”

“Potter, please have mercy on me and quiet the raging drama queen for a few minutes?”

“Gladly. I missed you so much, Draco.”

“He missed you, too. He was near death without you here.”

Draco sent Pansy a rude gesture behind Harry’s back as he pulled his lover close in a welcoming kiss. Pansy just laughed, smiling to see her best friend happy again.

“I am so glad to be home! I couldn’t stand being away any longer.”

“You said Granger got something wrong? I’m shocked.”

“We were too, but Hermione isn’t as infallible as everyone likes to think. She may be magical, but she’s not omniscient.”

“I’ve been saying that for years, but I never thought I’d be grateful for it. I really don’t do well when you’re not around.”

“I can attest to that!”

“Pansy, go home.”

“Not a bad idea, love. Let’s spend the weekend in bed, shall we?"
