Summary: Draco may have logic on his side, but Harry knows when to use his Slyjtherin side to get what he wants.

The Pout

“Drago…do we have any Bepper–Up potion?”

“I’m not sure you deserve Pepper-Up potion, Harry. That cold is the universe’s way of telling you not to go out on a stakeout again without telling me.”

“You’be been watching too many Buggle filb’s, Drago. Do we hab the potion?”

“I went by the apothecary and picked some up while you were sleeping. I also made you soup.”

“Thack you, lub. Urgh. That potion is foul, but I feel better already. Let’s go sleep under the stars tonight.”

“I love you, Potter, but you’re mad as a hatter. I refuse to sleep out of doors. We can always charm the ceiling if you want to see the stars.”

“It’s not the same, Draco.”

“Don’t pout at me. You know I can’t resist it. Besides, you’re just getting rid of a cold.”

“You’re so mean.”

“Flattery will get you nowhere, Harry.”

“I know where you hide your chocolate.”

“That’s devious, Potter.”

“I may be a bit thick, love, but I’m not completely stupid.”

“You’ve learned well.”

“I had a good teacher.”

“Okay, you win. But there will be warming charms. And cocoa.”

“I can live with those terms.”

Hah! So cute. I love Harry's "voice" at the beginning. Thanks for the entry!

Oh, yay! I'm so glad you thought it was cute. I tried to think about what someone with a bad cold would sound like and wrote it that way. I want the reader to "hear" Harry's cold when they read his dialogue. I'm so relieved it seems to have worked.
