My grandmother who stays with me was in a car accident this morning. Someone was apparently texting and driving and smashed into her. From what they've told me, the doctors x-rayed her and plan to send her home with pain meds. She was really hurting from what her husband said. I really don't want her to be hurting and unwell. If you feel so inclined, please pray for her. And even if you don't pray, please keep her in your thoughts and send some good vibes her way.

And, not to sound like a selfish little snot, but please pray for me. My life would be turned upside down and shaken to pieces if anything were to happen to her.  Please keep us in your thoughts. I'm just coming down a little bit from panic mode, so I'm sorry if this is selfish to ask, but can I please have hugs? Her husband is here and so is my uncle. I have a feeling I might go stark raving batshit insane before she gets home. I'm hiding out in my computer room.

Oh, honey, what the actual fuck?! That's dreadful! I hope she's fine or will be once the shock wears off and the worst of her injuries subside! If they're sending her home, it cannot be utterly bad, I mean, just think, that irresponsible zit on the face of humanity could have killed her - you two are two damn lucky ladies to still have one another!
Of course you can have a hug, just make sure you make some room, there's special delivery of them coming! Poor you! I hope the worst of panic is over and you're a bit more composed: after all, you're getting your grandma home soon and this will just be a black page in the book of your lives. I always tell my son after he comes home crying with an injury - the worst is already behind you, you're already injured, it only gets better from here on.
Big humongou-lishious hugs to you, you two hang on in there!

She's actually home now. Nothing was broken, thank goodness, but she's really sore in her back and her neck. I'm just thankful it wasn't worse. That was one of the scariest things I've ever gone through. It was terrifying, especially since I woke up out of dead sleep to news like that. She told me the girl who hit her was sixteen, and that the girl couldn't stop crying after it happened. Hopefully she'll be more careful of how she uses her phone in the future. It was a painful lesson to learn, but if it saves her and someone else pain in the future, then I'm glad. I'm sorry it happened, but things could be so much worse. I'm just grateful I still have her with me. My heart would break if something were to happen to her, not to mention the fact that my life would most likely get worse. Which is selfish to even think of, but still true. Thank you for everything. *big, massive hugs and chocolate covered Rons to you*
