Summary: Fred and George are making mischief, as usual.

Mischief Managed

“Why a fancy dress party? Why?”

“You do realise you’re speaking to us, right? The two most mischievous students to come out of Hogwarts since the original Marauders?”

“How could I have forgotten? Neither of you has a head for numbers, which is why you brought me on board to keep your books.”

“No business talk tonight, Draco. You should be having fun.”

“I’m allergic to fun. Have you not realised this?”

“We have. That’s why we invited you. Loosen up. It won’t be so bad.”

“Is your brother here?”

“Which one? You are aware we have more than one.”

“Ronald. Otherwise known as the thorn in my side.”

“He’s guarding the food table. Care to help us prank him?”

“How embarrassed is he going to be?”

“We’re betting his face will match his hair by the end of the evening.”

“Interesting. I won’t get in trouble, will I?”

“Only in the best way possible, mate.”

“You two are highly frightening.”

“Be mischievous for once in your proper, adult life, Draco. It feels good.”

“I’ve had enough mischief in my life thank you. I don’t need more.”

“Spoilsport. You’ve rather upset our plans for this evening.”

“Well, excuse me while I cry into my handkerchief, gentleman. I’m going to get a drink.”

“Cheers, mate. Enjoy it.”

Draco walked away from the twins, missing the identical grins that played around their lips.

“Malfoy! Is that you? Smashing costume, that. You look amazing.”

“A compliment, Weasley? How much have you had to drink this evening?”

“Dressed as a pirate. You’ve already stolen my heart.”

“Fred! George! What in Merlin’s name did you put in the punch?! Your brother is eying me like I’m a chocolate gateau!”

“Inhibition-lowering potion. Have fun!”

“If I get out of this alive, I swear I will kill you both! Ronald, get off me. Let me apparate you home before you make a fool of yourself.”

“Take me to bed, you sexy beast you!”

“I’m going to strangle your brothers.”
