Madness
“Malfoy? Why are you sitting alone in the dark?”
“I’m having a party, can’t you tell?”
“Could you at least light a candle?”
“Could you stop talking?”
“Why don’t you make me?”
Draco growled, lunging. Ron gasped as Draco’s hands curled like claws in his flame-red hair. Draco kissed Ron as if he were starving and Ron’s mouth contained the only food for miles. The pair panted as the kiss ended, Ron springing away like a startled canine.
“What in bloody hell was that?”
“A bid for a moment’s peace? Who knows?”
Ron’s blue eyes were lantern-bright in the dark room as he looked at Draco, somewhere between knowing and confused.
“What are we doing?”
“Are you ever going to stop asking questions? Gods, you are an annoying prat. I like you better when you don’t say anything.”
“Would it kill you to admit that you’re lonely?”
“Yes? Malfoys aren’t allowed to admit that.”
“I know you.’
“You know nothing. As usual.”
“Keep telling yourself that. Whatever makes it easier to sleep at night.”
“I don’t sleep at night. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.”
“No wonder you look like a ghost. Something from that muggle author, what’s his name? The one you’re always reading?”
“Edgar Allan Poe?”
“Yes, him. You look like you belong in one of his books.”
“I’ll take that as a compliment.”
Ron snorted, watching Draco from the corner of his eye.
“You sound battier than that old fraud, Trelawney. Why did you kiss me?”
“It shut you up, didn’t it? You’re actually not a bad kisser. But don’t expect me to admit that in public.”
“Perish the thought. But you’re not bad, either. Care to go again?”
“Stop asking stupid questions, I beg you. Please.”
“That’s a yes, then.”
“Gods, Weasley, you really are an idiot. Thank Circe you’re a good kisser, or I’d have to question my taste in men.”
“Quit growling at me. You’re not an animal. Anymore. Though you did make a lovely ferret.”
“Weasley, do silence yourself. Quiet can be a lovely thing.”
“Care to do it for me?”
“You’re provoking me on purpose, aren’t you?”
“There’s a method to my madness.”

on 2015-11-20 08:26 am (UTC)Who better to cheer a sulking Malfoy up than one annoying (and awfully cute) Weasley?! :) They're just drawn to each other, aren't they, and all their differences aside, they seem to know a way under each other's skin.
I always enjoy your authentic witty dialogues and a distinctive style of speech they use. Draco's choice of words is always a bit more refined and Ron is just Ron, plain and simple and his direct approach must feel very liberating to one stiff Malfoy. I love the dynamics between these two, I hope they never stop "possesing" you! :)

on 2015-11-21 08:31 am (UTC)Go on! You can do Drarry for all I care, that's what you're most comfortable with and it's most likely to happen when you're passionate about something. I'm passionate about the redheads, there's always at least one in my godawful and awkward sex scenes, LOL - and I'm certain you can do this with your blond and raven boy, blushing all the way, of course, but you can! :D

on 2015-11-21 09:40 am (UTC)To me, my sex scenes are the weakest part of my writing, I'm the most insecure about them and I definitely try to practise them every chance I get, getting a few right and a much larger proportion wrong - but I have to give myself a chance to improve! :)
Go on, work on it, you're doing great already!

on 2015-11-21 10:07 am (UTC)But you see - I feel the same way about my writing as you do about yours - but neither of us can let the insecurities stop us from trying and posting! :)
I wish you a lot of writing courage! Make me happy with "I don't know what I wished for" scene, LOL! :D
