The Seeker’s Game

“Malfoy! What are you doing here?”

“Don’t I usually meet you here at least twice a month for a Seeker’s game?”

“I wasn’t sure you’d be doing that anymore. I thought Zacharias might be monopolising all your time now, since you’ve “been swept away by love” and all.”

“It was one drink after work, and the man was dull as a frayed sock. Don’t tell me you were jealous?”

“Ha! You wish, Malfoy. You’re just trying to distract me so you have a chance at beating me to the Snitch.”

“I don’t need to distract you to do that, Potter. I have talent on my side.”

“Youngest Seeker in a hundred years, Malfoy. You talk too much. Let’s just play. Or are you scared of a little challenge?”

“I’m not scared. What will my reward be when I win?”

“If you win, I’ll buy you dinner.”

“It’s a date, Scarhead. Take me someplace nice, yes?”
