Notes: I have never written Teddy/Scorpius before, so apologies if this is really awful. I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while now. If the thought that they are second cousins is a squick for you, please feel free to utilise the back button with no hard feelings from me. I do not typically write incest, but shiftylinguini gave me the idea for this pairing, and I wanted to see what I could do with this. I know that in some areas, cousins having a relationship isn’t illegal, but I know that some might find it off-putting. Kissing Cousins
“Why does my mouth taste as if a Hippogriff shat in it?” Scorpius groaned.
“That’s quite a vivid description, cousin. Perhaps it’s because you drained nearly all the firewhiskey in The Three Broomsticks singlehandedly,” Teddy suggested reasonably.
“I was celebrating, Ted. It isn’t every day one receives an offer to play for the Falmouth Falcons so soon after graduating Hogwarts. How is it that you’re still functioning? I seem to recall you putting away more than a pint or two.”
“I had the sense to take a Palliative Potion this morning, that’s why. You’ll learn as you get older, Scorpius.”
“Ted, you aren’t that much older than me, so you needn’t act the part of such an old man,” Scorpius grumbled.
“I’m eight years older than you. That’s quite a lot. And I knew enough to know you’d need this,” Teddy said, smugly pulling a second vial from his robe.
“Gods, I love you so much. My head is killing me. Give it.”
“Only if you promise never to drink so much again. I can’t have you setting the wagging tongues of wizarding society afire with your exploits when you go off and become an international quidditch champion.”
“Merlin, Ted, you sound like mother when you say that.”
“Your word, Scor.”
“You have it. Happy?”
Ecstatically so.”
“I’m sorry about Victoire.”
“No you’re not. You never liked her,” Teddy said without heat.
“You’re right, I’m not. I always thought you deserved something more. Do you have any idea how often I’ve dreamed about you? And daydreamed about you? I used to love tagging along after you, and you were always so kind to me. And as I grew up, the dreams changed focus.”
“Scor, it’s—it just wouldn’t be right. We’re family.”
“Not that closely related. Besides, I know you want me too. Don’t think I haven’t caught you checking out my arse in my quiddich leathers. Last time you were almost drooling.”
“You’re daydreaming, Scor. I did no such thing.”
“Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.”
“You’re making even less sense than normal.”
“Fine. Tell me you don’t want me.”
“I can’t.”

on 2016-05-28 08:51 am (UTC)Anyway, no worries about cousincest, since only their parents are cousins, I don't think anyone will mind. And they're totally hot together! Teddy, a proper adult who knows how to responsibly handle a night of partying and Scorp who's clearly more fresh and inexperienced to the game. I can totally imagine that *anyone* would find Teddy fascinating with his morphing abilities and if Scorpius is a Quidditch-drafted then this is one fit bloke! :D Let's see how they complete each other... *hint, hint* (Uhm, if that was not obvious enough, how about a sequel? *sheepish grin*)
