dove_drabbles- Prefer piles of chocolate or piles of leaves?, JMDC 151-How do you like it?
Summary: Harry convinces Draco that leaf piles are fun.
“How do you like it, Draco? Doesn’t it look beautiful out here?”
“It is quite nice, Harry. But honestly, I’d prefer a pile of chocolate to a pile of leaves. And it’s cold.”
“I like leaf piles. Raking them into a huge pile and jumping in was one of the most fun things I ever did as a kid.”
“Didn’t that just mean twice as much work for you later?”
“Yes, but it was worth it. It meant I got away from Dudley for a little longer. He never liked doing anything physical unless it involved beating people up.”
“Well, I can’t argue with your logic there, can I? I can’t believe you’re related to those people. Your cousin sounds like a troll.”
“A bit, yeah. D’you know what else leaf piles are good for?”
“What?”
“They make romantic spots for kissing people you love.”
“Maybe you’re right.”
“I am.”
“But Harry?”
“Yeah?”
“If I get dirt in my hair, I’ll kill you.”
