Notes: I hope readers enjoy this. I’m not sure why this was in my head, but I blame the prompts.
Summary: Draco tries to spice things up, but it’s not quite working to plan.
“Draco what is that?” Harry asked, trying to hide the look of disgust on his face at the smell pervading the room.
“It’s a recipe for a new lust potion. It’s meant to inspire passionate love-making for hours on end.”
“Right now all it’s inspiring is the movement of my lunch. Why do we need a lust potion anyway? I’d say we have a fairly active sex life.”
“I thought we could spice things up a bit. I thought perhaps this might spark some ideas and be a new adventure for us. I’d hate to think you might be getting bored of me.”
“Love, I could never be bored of you. What ever put that thought into your head?”
“You pay more attention to the Sunday comics than you do to me sometimes. I thought you might be losing interest in me.”
“That could never happen, Draco. I swear it.”
“You can’t promise that, Harry. Who’s to say that you won’t fall out of love with me someday?”
“I say. You are the most fascinating person in the world to me. If I ever let you forget that, then I’m sorry. If it seems like I’m not paying attention to you, it’s only because I’m comfortable enough around you just to be myself, not Harry bloody Potter. I can relax around you because you make me feel so safe.”
“How do you do that? How? I start out feeling angry with you and a little hurt, and then you make it entirely impossible to continue feeling anger toward you. I feel better now, Harry. I’m sorry if I seemed like a hopeless prat.”
“Not hopeless. It’s sweet that you wanted to do something to spark my interest. Not that my spark ever went out, but it might if I have to smell this much longer.”
“That does smell rather awful doesn’t it?”
“Merlin, yes. Why don’t we just go and rent a naughty film or something?”
“Naughty film? Are you channeling my grandmother, Potter?”
“Shut it, you. Grandmothers and sex do not belong in the same thought.”
“When you’re right, you’re right.”
“It’s a miracle! You said I was right.”
“Don’t get used to it.”
