Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction created for fun and no profit has been made.

Summary: Draco tries to get Scorpius to go outside.

“Father, could you reset my video game?” Scorpius begged.

“It’s a beautiful day out, Scorpius. Why not go outside and start a game of tag with your friends?”

“I don’t feel like going outside right now.”

“That’s too bad, because you’re going. You’ve been staring at that video game so long that your face is starting to turn purple.”

“Really?! Cool!”

“I refuse to have my son looking like an ice lolly. Could you please go play outside before my head explodes? I’m sure Albus would be willing to play with you.”

“You just want an excuse to see Mr Potter again, don’t you?” Scorpius smirked.

“That is none of your business, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy!”

“Merlin, you’re using all of my names.”

“That in itself should tell you something, should it not?”

“I’ll ring Albus and see if he wants to come over. Maybe a game of broom tag wouldn’t be terrible.”

“Thank you. That’s a novel idea.”

“Shall I advise Mr Potter to wear his gold star pants for luck?”

“Scorpius Malfoy! One more word out of you and you are grounded!”

“You’re no fun. Though you are turning a rather interesting shade of red.”

Draco spluttered inelegantly for a moment before throwing his hands up in defeat. “I give up. I don’t know where in the world your attitude comes from.”

“They say that kind of thing is usually passed down from father to son. So in a way, I suppose you could say it’s your own fault.”

“I should scold you for your cheek, but you do make a valid point.”

“If you didn’t want me taking the mickey, you and Mr Potter should’ve been more discreet last time. It was quite traumatising to catch you two in the conservatory.”

“You share a dorm with four other teenage boys. Surely you’ve talked about sex. And we’ve always been open in our discussions.”

“Theoretically discussing sex is one thing. Seeing your father engaged in it with your best friend’s dad is something else altogether.”

“I’m sorry you had to see that. We should’ve put up better privacy and silencing charms.”

“Yes, you should’ve. But for what it’s worth, I’m glad you’re happy together.”
