dove_drabbles Prompt 100-Express what’s in your heart. Just random sweet fluff inspired by the prompts.
Summary: Draco doesn’t “do” romance, but Harry loves him anyway.
“I don’t see why you watch romance films, Harry. Everything is so formulaic and predictable.”
“They can be, yeah. But I find that comforting rather than boring. There has been so much chaos in our lives, it’s nice to know that things exist where the endings are always happy.”
“You may have a point, but I still say they could put some twists or turns in somewhere. When you can predict what’s going to happen, it has less impact.”
“Hmm, what kind of romance would you make, I wonder? When you proposed to me, you pulled a velvet drawstring bag out of your pocket, showed me the ring and said: ‘Potter, if you don’t marry me, I can make your life miserable. So will you?’
“You said yes in the end, didn’t you?”
“Merlin help me, I did. It was such a Malfoy way of expressing what was in your heart, and I love you, warts and all.”
“Potter, I do not have warts!”
“It’s just an expression, love. I’m not saying you actually do have warts.”
“Oh, thank Merlin! Do you ever regret marrying me?”
“Not even a little bit.”
“Not even when I have no idea what you’re banging on about when you use odd expressions?”
“Not even then. It’s your imperfections that make you so dear to me.”
“You, my love, are a hopeless romantic”
“Not hopeless as long as I have you.”
“Potter, what am I going to do with you?”
“I can think of a thing or two.”
