dove_drabbles 102-Add a little sweetness to your day. JMDC 194-perform, pivot, practice. Harry and Ginny are amicably divorced in this one. Just randomness inspired by the prompts and my imagination.
Summary: Sometimes the apples don’t far from the tree.
“Lily, love, why is your brother on the ceiling?”
“I had to practise my spells, Dad!”
“But you know you aren’t allowed to perform magic outside of school.”
“You should’ve seen it, Dad! This morning she had him pivoting and pirouetting like a ballerina. It was so funny!” James barked. “Nothing like laughing at your little brother to add a bit of sweetness to your day.”
“Can someone please get me down now?! Getting lightheaded up here.”
“Only if you promise I won’t have to watch you snog Scorpius this evening.”
“Don’t blame that on me! You dared us. You should’ve known better!”
‘You snogged Scorpius Malfoy? I suppose I shall have to discuss that with his father.”
“We were playing a game, dad. It doesn’t count.”
‘You liked it, admit it!” Lily teased.
“You lot are too young to be kissing.”
“If we’re too young, does that mean you’re too old? I saw you and Mister Malfoy snogging after you came out of Fortescue’s last week."
“Merlin help me. I am an adult. Adults can snog who they like.”
“That’s true. Mum kissed Luna that one time, remember?”
“She was tipsy coming back from that party. I’m not sure that counts.”
“Can we please leave off talk of kissing and go get some ice cream before my head explodes? Your mum will be here to get you soon.”
“That sounds good. May I have two scoops since they left me on the ceiling for so long?”
“Only if you pay for them.”
“Done. Should we invite Mister Malfoy and Scorpius along?”
“We can if you like.”
“Wicked. Only…dad? Please don’t choke on his tongue this time?”
