I know, I know, how pathetic is that, right? I just found out about The Silver Snitch, and I'm a little bummed out about it. That was where I go to read "Cactus Angels and "Wolf". "Cactus Angels" I've saved, but "Wolf" I did not. That series is just...long. But good. Anyway, the site seems to have gone done thanks to no money or some such thing, but I'm hoping it goes back up.

In other news, I'm actually happy for the most part, despite some suck-ish things that have happened recently in RL. I have new friends, and they help me not to take myself or my life too seriously. I've found out that a good mood can go a very long way. I'm laughing a lot more than I probably ever have. It's amazing what a difference music and laughter can make to your outlook.

My uncle is in the hospital because his pulse and heart rate are apparently too fast. I'm worried about that, but I'm doing what I can to not worry. My father is on my mind a lot. I miss him every day, no matter how much friction there was in our relationship sometimes. I don't want to lose my uncle, too. He's one of the few family members I have left.

Gah, I hope everything sorts itself out soon. I'm going to go make myself laugh now, before I go into a major crying jag.

I hope it goes back up soon. Reading fic is a good distraction for me when RL gets too crazy.

Gah! I'm so out of the loop these days. I didn't know anything about the Silver Snitch going down. When did that happen?? I had stuff posted there, but nothing I didn't have other places as well.

I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond to this. The last few days have been busy. I'm not sure when the site went down, but I am glad most authors have their things in more than one place. My uncle is doing much better. He's home now. The doctors say that it's a nerve in his heart that's causing his symptoms, but I'm not sure what they're planning to do to fix it. Thank you so much for the support. It means a lot to me. <3
