A child-an invalid-
broken and torn.

Who I am inside
is never real to you-
all you see is-
the mask I show.

Plastic smile-unreal-
doll eyes-filled with tears-
porcelain skin-marked over-
with too many scars.

Thank you so much for the hug and support. To be honest, I'm not really sure how my family sees me. I only know how it feels to me. I get so many mixed signals it's confusing.
