Lamentation of a fallen angel

Angels sing in
Breaking voices
Crying dazzing
crystal tears.

Shards of my
broken  mirror
Rest shattered
On the ice-cold floor.

Jagged pieces find
their way-inevitablly-
into my shaking hands.

Red blood seeps down,
warm and vivid against
frigid ivory skin
tinted a lifeless blue-gray

The breath ecapes from
my still body.
The angels come
to take me home.

The voices of heaven
are raised in mourning
for their kindred fallen from 
Heaven's delight.
