”I TRUST THE PROCESS OF LIFE. NOTHING IN THE PAST OR PRESENT INTERFERES WITH THE DIVINE RIGHT FLOW OF MY LIFE. I AM HEALTHY AND HAPPY RIGHT HERE AND NOW!”

This is a positive thought I wanted to save for myself to refer back to when I need it. There is a lot of negative energy in my life right now, and I'm hoping this thought might serve as a building block to reprogram the bad stuff in my head into good. See? I am trying to fulfill my resolutions. This is a good thing. I might start putting positive thoughts up here as I run across them, so I'm sorry if anyone finds this annoying. But if it helps you, that's great. I hope it will help me. If it annoys people too much, I can set those entries to private. Just drop me a line if you're bothered and let me know it.

Ok, so in the spirit of the New Year, I want to take time to set down some resolutions here so that I can refer back to them later as needed. Problem is, I'm not sure what it is I'd really like to do with this opportunity. I'm feeling positive today, which feels really good. That's something I've not felt for a long while.  My father is home from the hospital, which makes me feel better. I was really nervous about this, but so far, everything is just the way it's always been, except I think he's been a little nicer to me than usual. He tends to be a bit grumpy, as a general rule. I just hope this positivity keeps up, because it feels amazing. I know there will be obstacles in the future, but I'm feeling like things will be getting better as time goes on. (Knock on wood.)

Anyway, resolutions...so...here goes.

1). Focus on finding my own spiritual path, rather than simply swallowing what I'm told to believe.

2) Learn to value myself, both physically and in other ways. As human beings, I believe we all possess inherent value, so mistreating myself in any fashion is illogical and non-productive.

3) Learn to release negative thought patterns and replace them with positive, productive ones. This means adjusting the ways in which I deal with changes.

4) Be a less self-centered person.

5).Release the guilt I have about not being perfect enough.

I think those are some positive steps I could realistically take in the future to make my life better.I hope I can stick to them.
